Project: A Culture Jamming Practice

I focused my project on the "fake," where there is not a definite original piece of work or product, due to the fact that there will always be someone recreating or imitating that particular piece.

I wanted to highlight how influencers and celebrities can easily promote a product and have people buy that product, despite it not having any actual benefits. I created a mock water bottle selling company that attempts to use social media to promote its product, similar to how previous companies have attempted. With social media and the digital world on the rise, companies look towards influencers to promote their products. I chose a water bottle company because the topic of health has been increasing, with many people looking for drinks that will boost their daily performance.
